The first thing that you will want to prepare is the speech itself. You know that you have a lot of work ahead of you. You will find that there are things like picking a topic, researching the topic, and then trying to find yourself in the speech.

You will find that if you take the time to get the speech ready, you will feel a lot better when it comes to giving the speech. Once you have researched the entire topic, you will want to write and outline of your speech.

The outline will make sure that you hit all of the keynotes. This will help you when it comes to writing the speech word for word, however, if you don’t have to memorize, then you shouldn’t. It is just too much to expect from yourself.

Once the speech is written you will want to prepare the way that you give the speech. When it comes to practicing your speech you will pick out some of the things that work and don’t work. You will also want to think about timing.

Make sure that you pick your speech apart when it comes to the practice rounds. Once you have gotten the opinions of others and made your own opinion, you will find that you can critique the actually speech and it will be perfect in the end.

Once the speech is ready to be given you will want to begin to practice, but by paying attention to yourself. You want to watch your voice. It has to be loud and clear (not shaky). You will want to watch your facial expressions and the way that your body language goes throughout your speech.

Make sure that you are saying what you mean and meaning what you say. Your body language and your speech have to go together.

It is important that you don’t leave anything to chance. You should make sure that you prepare yourself for everything. As long as you put time and energy into making the speech great, you’ll be able to make a great speech and deliver it.
